ANNEX-‘F’

Features of UFS map/schedule to understand the utility of the map:

1. The maps prepared in the UFS are not drawn to scale but while forming such maps points like direction and sense of proportion is kept in mind.

2. Omission or duplication of any area is avoided.

3. The permanent landmarks/prominent building etc. are shown for easy identification.

4. The corner points are mentioned clearly.

5. The block boundaries are clearly marked and wherever  possible natural boundaries like pucca lanes/by lanes/roads/drainage etc. are used.

6. The type of area such as bazaar Area/Industrial Area /Hospital Area/ Slum Area are indicated in the map.

7. Geographical contiguity and compactness of the block is ensured.

8. The existing curves and curvatures are reflected in the map.

9. Dedicated and experienced staffs are available to clarify the doubts of user.
